What is Let’s Get Started?
LGS is an initiative developed by the British Council for cultural and educational development of the most creative and most talented young people (students and young professionals) in Albania and Great Britain. These people will keep in touch and work on developing various creative ideas and projects.

What is British Council and why it supports LGS?
British Council is an international non-political, non-profit and non-governmental organization registered in Great Britain as a charity that has offices in 109 countries around the world. British Council is involved in:

* the arts of education
* English language
* social issues
* human rights

Supporting the Let’s Get Started network and working with young people for the British Council is a step forward into achieving our basic aim: promoting Great Britain as a partner in cultural development.

Network’s aims
By working on variety of projects, events and meetings, the network aims for:

• giving young people a chance for a higher level of self expression
• developing their multiple intelligence
• initiating and realising different projects

How Let’s get started works?
Although the network exists under the umbrella of the British Council, it is supported, but not controlled by the British Council

Why is LGS different?
What makes LGS different is that:
* We do not have a limited sphere of action
* We take initiatives in all parts of the society (education, ecology, music, sport etc.)
* We are affirmative of either individual talents or team successes
* LGS enables contacts with experts, politicians, famous musicians, journalists, designers and professionals.

Activities
Since its establishment, the network has passed the elementary level of development, by creating its infrastructure and setting the basic organizational and administrative fundaments. But most importantly it has worked on a satisfying amount of projects and organized many meetings and events.

What can you do about LGS and what can LGS do about you?
As a member of this network you will be given a chance to take part in all LGS projects and events, but suggesting and developing your own projects you will work on with a team of LGS club members.
How can you become a member?
If you are young, talented, open-minded, creative, tolerant, active, optimistic and want to work with other people and become a member of LGS you can either:

* attend one of the regular LGS events
* join the nearest LGS local club
